I have been a customer with WebHostingBuzz for four years now and overall have had a very positive experience. The few times I encountered issues and submitted tickets they responded promptly and have been able to keep me running. My Silver package has 750 GB of disk space. Due to the nature of my site I come close to the limit with the documents and other training materials I have made available for download by my agents. A good feature in my opinion is that if I ever need to increase my content their next package up comes with unlimited space and is only another $3/ month. Overall I am very satisfied with the service and will continue to use them for my future web endeavors.

Ive been a customer for almost 8 years. Some may say a perfect customer - all I ever hosted there was Gallery. Occasional issues, but very small compared to number of years I used and payed them.
Over time my gallery grew and it is about 50GB now. In the beginning of 2011 I received my first notice that I am in violation of their disk usage provision: Disk Usage Provision. 90% or more of your content on your website must be linked from an HTML or similarly coded web page where all content is freely available to the public. Your website consists of web pages of a standard design, essentially HTML based text and graphics. Downloadable files, media, streaming content or any file which consumes more than 500kb of space must not exceed 10% of your total used disk quota. With 300GB of allowed space, and 60GB of used space - I would be allowed to put 6GB worth of media content, filling the rest with 54GB of html text. The first time they agreed that all of my content was linked via html/php and therefor I was not in violation. Second time 3 months later I just sent them a print out of the first ticket - never heard from them. 3rd time - a week ago they disabled my account over New Years holiday. Then ignored my ticket for 2 days until I reached out via chat to get it escalated. I am reasonably confident that 8 years ago they did not have such provision. And I feel like I am dealing with "all you can eat buffet", except you can only have 3 pieces of shrimp and 5 pieces of chicken and there is nothing else on the plates. I left them for someone else who can actually deliver what they sell... I recommend against using this provider.

WHB requires that 90% of your used space be composed of files under 500kb. So practically no image galleries, audio files, video, etc.
Unless you just happen to have 10GB of HTML sitting around you can upload. That's why they can offer 2TB of space and 20TB of bandwidth. You're not allowed to use it. Oh, and their support stinks. I recently received an e-mail from WHB that my account had been terminated because I was violating disk space usage, #11 on http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/?hosting-account-usage-policy. I'm only using 18GB of the 2TB I purchased (http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/website-hosting.shtml?host_smashingmagazine-special) Here's #11 in full. Web Hosting Buzz is by far the best web hosting company out there. There prices are cheap but the satisfaction that you get from hosting with them is priceless. All of their servers are reliable, shared and reseller, on average achieving 99.5% uptime and higher. The support truly is 24/7 and supports tickets are sometimes replied to in minutes usually about 30 miniutes to an hour. I have been a customer for a year now and I have nothing bad to say about them. I highly recommend them! | |||||||
