TheWebHostingHero.com Just Moved to SingleHop!

With the recent increase in traffic on TheWebHostingHero.com, we finally had to make the move from a VPS to a dedicated server in order to maintain performance.

While FutureHosting always provided us with excellent service (and we still have three VPS with them), we wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to try another provider.

So after evaluating some dedicated hosting companies, we decided to go with SingleHop. While we hesitated a lot between them and DedicatedNow, we went with SingleHop because of the following reasons:

• a dedicated server that matched our budget;
• awesome control panel (LEAP);
• excellent phone and email support.

We got ourselves a dedicated server with a Core2Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz CPU, 4GB of RAM, 500GB of disk space and CentOS 5.5 X64. Of course, we also got cPanel installed and we setup a DNS cluster with the other VPS from FutureHosting which is working really well.

Needless to say, we are EXTREMELY satisfied with the server so far. It’s so fast and reliable. The LEAP desktop is simply the best account management interface out there.
