The web hosting business has grown up. And while we still know of many small providers that offer inexpensive and reliable service, well-established hosting companies have moved on to become some of the largest tech firms in the nation. SingleHop recently gained the attention of Inc. magazine, ranking it number 58 in its well-known Inc. 500 list. The Inc. 500 lists America’s fastest-growing private companies.
SingleHop, based in Chicago, offers dedicated servers and high-end web hosting. The company, besides ranking number 58 in the Inc. 500, also ranked highest in the Web hosting industry, third fastest growing IT services company, and second highest ranked Chicago-based business. And if that’s not enough, SingleHop’s phenomenal growth is pegged at 3,895 percent over the past three years-testimony to both the incredible service offered by SingleHop, and the incredible potential in this business.
Created in 2006, the company offers managed, dedicated hosting to thousands of clients around the world. The company’s managed hosting revolves around it’s a la carte server management program, a full collection of management services that lets customers customize their support to meet their specific needs.
Looking to continue that record growth, the company recently launched its cloud computing platform named Cascade. The product is added on top of an existing dedicated server to offer advanced cloud computing benefits.
