The web hosting provider, SingleHop, has recently made the prestigious 2011 Inc. 500 list for the second year in a row.
Commenting on this achievement, President and Chief Executive Officer of SingleHop, Zak Boca, said, “Making the Inc.500 list for the second year in a row is a tremendous honor. Our company has historically focused on automating the management of Internet infrastructure, so we find this be a loud and clear message that we’ve been focusing on what customers want from their provider.”
A condition of making the Inc. 500 List, a firm must show exceptional growth for at least three years in a row. By coming in at number 25, SingleHop has clearly shown their determination to continue growing despite of the current weak economy. To be featured on the list for two years in a row is a great achievement, as only four other companies featured on this year’s list also made the 2010 Inc. 500 list.
Though SingleHop is facing tough competition in their industry, they have managed to retain their leading position. They have achieved this primarily through a blend of correctly anticipating technology trends and being attentive to their clients’ needs. As SingleHop Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, Dan Ushman, put it, “Our strategy has always been to invent new ways to empower our clients with more control over their servers. That’s our value proposition and it’s resonated strongly with the IT community. Businesses choose to partner with us because we hand them the remote control from day one.”
