Well it seems as if the largest web hosting company in America has finally went ahead and gone unlimited. HostGator, who has recently became a green web host, is now offering unlimited and unmetered web hosting.

Up until now, HostGator’s small hosting plan of 350GB is now unlimited. They have kept their 3 hosting packages but they’re now targeting different niches with each of them:

• The Hatchling Plan is great for personnal / blog hosting, allowing only one domain name, no SSL and a shared IP.

• The Baby Plan is similar to the Hatchling Plan except it allows you to host unlimited domains so it’s great personnal and small business website (not recommended for shopping carts and secure transactions though).
  $7.95 / mo.
• The Business Plan has everything you could imagine from a web host. This is the perfect plan for a small to medium business website. You can host unlimited domains and you get a dedicated IP address so you can add a SSL certificate. This plan also supports ASP.NET.
  $12.95 / mo.
