December 11th, 2010

Codero Dedicated ServersOffering dedicated and managed hosting to small and midsize businesses, Codero was launched in 2009 as an outgrowth of shared hosting company Aplus.net. The company has quickly gained a reputation for value, high performance and reliability, and to keep that momentum going, the company has appointed Jonathan Ewert as President and CEO. Ewert is a veteran of the tech industry, and will also serve on Codero’s Board of Directors.

Ewert brings some substantial experience to the table. Previously, Ewert was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at LookSmart, and was also the CEO of ePALS Classroom Exchange. Earlier, he was Vice President of Marketing at Modern Media, and took a leading role in positioning that company for its successful IPO.

Ewert’s experience will play well within Codero, which is attracting many customers from the e-commerce, software-as-a-service, web development, advertising and media segments. The company has continued to position itself as the leaders in the field, and has gained several certifications, including Microsoft Gold certification, SAS Type II certification, PCI compliance. Ewert has experience in all of of those areas, and has the perfect background to grow Codero to its greatest potential.

In addition to its impressive battery of services, Codero has also embraced the green hosting model to appeal to the environmentally conscious customer. The company purchases 100 percent renewable energy for its operations, ensuring that its Phoenix data center and Overland Park, Kansas headquarters are powered by renewable energy.

Codero’s value proposition is in providing an alternative to costly capital investments to its customers, by providing cost-effective hosted services.
