cPanel Opens up for Windows with HostDime Free Trial

cPanel, the leading Linux control panel has opened the Windows market with a new EnKompass hosting package with managed hosting provide HostDime.

Free trial accounts to test dribve the new control panel are availkable by signing up with HostDime by January 1, 2010.

cPanel and HostDime designers and engineers have worked closely for three years to bring the new web site remote management tool to market and currently, it is only available from HostDime.

Testers say the new control panel has a similar look and feel to its Linux cousin and that moving from Windows to Linux or the other way should be easier for web users.

EnKompass is designed to work with Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft’s IIS7 The control panel allooiws web servers to run multiple scripts and services like3 ASP, ASP.Net, PHP, Perl and MsQL.
