Reseller Hosting: How To Display Messages In Your Users’ cPanel

Like you already know, reseller hosting is a great way to gain additional revenues while adding a complementary service to your business. Today I’m going to show some simple stuff you can do with WHM as a reseller.

As a reseller, did you know that you can send notices to your customers’ cPanel interface? This can be useful to post messages related to cPanel for instance.

To send a notice to your users, simply log in WHM as a reseller (http://www.yourdomain.com:2086) and click on the Modify cPanel/WHM News link from the navigation menu on the left.

Now simply enter your message in the text box and hit Save News. Click on List Accounts from the navigation menu again and click on the cPanel icon next to the account name to view this user’s control panel.

If everything went correctly, you should your message at the top (see first screenshot)!
