Reseller Hosting: How To Create Packages - Part 1July 27th, 2008 · 2 Comments
One of the best known reseller hosting control panel is WHM or Web Host Manager. Part of the cPanel control panel bundle, WHM has two access levels: system administrator and reseller hosting. Today we’ll start exploring WHM as a reseller by creating hosting packages. A Hosting Package is nothing but a hosting plan. It defines the hosting features made available to your customers such as disk space, bandwidth, number of email accounts, number of databases, etc. But prior to creating a Package, you’ll need to create a Feature List. This is the list of options that will be made available in your hosting packages.
How To Create A Feature List with WHMAssuming you’re already logged in WHM (as a reseller of course, so that’s usually at http://www.yourdomain.com:2086), click on Feature Manager from the right column menu. We’re going to create a “Standard” Feature List which with these options:
Now simply check these options and hit the Save button at the bottom.
