Creating email accounts must one the most common task performed by website owners. While it’s not a very difficult task to accomplish for the average webmaster, it can be a complete mystery to the beginner.
This time around, we’ll see how to create an email account using the H-Sphere control panel.
For this tutorial, I’ll be using my IX Web Hosting account. IX Web Hosting provides Cheap Web Hosting with H-Sphere control panel and EasyApps script installer.
First, head over to your H-Sphere control panel and click on the E-Mail icon. On the next page, you will be able to select the domain name for which you want to create an email account (if you own more than one domain of course). If you changed the domain name, click the Go button before going further.
Now click the New E-mail link just below the E-mail Setup Fonctions. Simply fill-in the Email Address and Password fields and check the MAILBOX checkbox.

Hit the Submit button and H-Sphere will bring you back to the E-mail page with a message stating the email has been created successfully. On this same page, you will find the needed information to configure your email client software (i.e.: Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc).
