How to Suspend and Unsuspend Accounts Using WHM

How to suspend and unsuspend accounts using WHMAccount suspension and unsuspension are important aspects of a reseller account – accounts suspension is a tool that helps you to deal with unpaid accounts, violations of use, excessive bandwidth usage, etc. without deleting the user account or domain. When the situation has been resolved, you can simply restore the user or domain(s) impacted.

  1. In the WHM main screen, click the Account Functions icon:

  2. In the Account Functions area, click on the Suspend/Unsuspend an Account icon:

  3. In the Suspend/Unsuspend and Account area, determine if you want to unsuspend a domain or a user, click on the domain or the user, enter a reason (optional) and click the Suspend button:

  4. Once suspended, domains and users will have a red background on the Suspend/Unsuspend screen

Modifying the suspended accounts page

  1. Click Modify Suspended Account Page from the Account Functions section of the left-side menu

  2. Modify the HTML code in the main window

Viewing suspended accounts

  1. Click List Suspended Accounts from the Account Information section of the left-side menu

    The Suspended Accounts page shows which account are suspended and provides the option to unsuspend the account or to completely terminate the accountwhm-cpanel-suspend-account-7
