My main beef with MyHosting is the performance of my Windows VPS. My VPS felt very sluggish. Upgrading RAM and CPU did not solve that all! It appears that their VPS'es are seriously oversold!

Uptime guarantee for their VPS is worthless when nodes and network cannot cope with traffic.

My websites were down on a daily basis in December 2012 and January 2013. Support claimed network issues, DDoS attacks, and that other users on the node used too much resources.

I invested in quite a lot of RAM and CPU, and my websites used just a fraction of what I paid for. I even bought a second VPS. This didn't help at all, meaning I did not really get any more resources on the node, and performance was just as poor.

Their VPS nodes are simply oversold.

Moved to dedicated server February 1 with much less RAM and CPU. Still this server performs a lot better. No downtime at all.

Pros: Friendly support, but they can't really solve a bad business model
Cons: Oversold VPS, Daily glitches and downtime

myhosting.com is excellent! Especially the guidance of their kind live chat operators. And 7x24 support with telephone or live chat or ticket is also unbelievably fast, accurate and kind! And again unbelievably it is free! I couldn't believed it at the live chat that it will be effective this much and I wasn't expecting a good team with technical knowledge as this much with free service! I made a call to toll free phone, expressed my question and when I reached home, it was SOLVED! I am really glad and the most important is very much PEACEFUL that I transferred to myhosting.com! I hope this kind and express good support never ends some day. I recommend every one myhosting.com!

I know more often than not myhosting.com likely hear user complaints and while I have had a few issues in the past, I have to say I have NEVER been more satisfied with the service the past year. I just wanted to congratulate all of myhosting.com team for a job well done in maintaining the overall service and user experience.

We gave them a shot using a windows VPS tuned to the max to host NataliePortman.com.
We were severly disappointed. The server itself was smooth, but they have no self service, no emergency reboot button, chatting with support to get them to reboot was impossible. And when I wanted to cancel our account I had apparently used a campaign code and thus forfeitting my right to my money back.
To make it worse they are still mailing me that my credit card is out of date and when I they won't stop mailing me even though I have told them never to contact me ever again... which resulted in a reply from their customer service! They are so terrible at customer service they should go out of business to learn that this a customer driven market!

Pros: Server was running smoothly
Cons: Had more issues during 2 weeks there than 2 years at the planet.

I am in VPS and I am very satisfied. Servers are fast and reliable.

Tier 1 customer service answers the wrong question. Tier 2 customer service tells you your server is broken and will stay that way, and won't respond to further queries. Absolutely worthless.

Considering that you have already decided to move on I'm guessing that there isn't much I can do to keep you at this time.

If there is anything you would like to provide that wasn't included in the ticket history or just anything as constructive critism, I'd be interested in what you have to say. We strive to provide the best service possible and if issues do occur we want to learn from it to make sure it either doesn't happen again, or make sure that the situation is handled in the most efficient manner possible.

Ease of use with classic service. I still prefer to use MS Frontpage to publish my sites. Setting up a new domain, customer service helped me get CLASSIC working. They were very helpful.
