beware of this the company - highly unprofessional ...
absolutely agree with another reviewer "I advise everyone to stay far from it". Price very high - they never adjust your plan - so while prices for hosting going down - they keep you on the high price of initial signup... Admin never available and those boys working in support - useless and rude.... I'll move out as soon as i can transfer big site out to another host ...

Reliable virtual host?
Trust virtual host? I'm a Chinese users to IX IX. Not responsible for, no credit, in the absence of any remind you account,... Forced to customers to upgrade. Say, but the infinite space limit is very strict. A year after purchasing a 3-year subscription to the Unlimited Pro Web Hosting product which included 3 free domain names, IX WebHosting billed my credit card for the renewal of 2 of these "free" domains.
A reply to my inquiry on 2/27/2011 informed me that the free domain registration is no longer available even though they are still advertising it. Buyer beware of this merchant. |

IX Webhosting has easy to reach US based customer service. They offer very reasonably priced packages. In spite of their faults they are one of the best out there.
Pros -Easy call in customer service, I have never waited more than 4 minutes in almost two years. -Customer service has always been very friendly. -Customer service does not try to sell you anything like GoDaddy agents always do. -They are very honest about any problem they encounter. 15 individual ISP addresses -Easy to use site studio Cons -Frequent down time -Some of the customer service agents may steer you wrong but at least you only have to wait a minute to recall and talk to someone else. -Support heros program is a joke you probably will never get your personalized agent on the phone |
