Click here to reply to this review		 Overall good web host. It has been 4 years I am with these people without any problem as such. There are few issues that not serious enough, but expected to be resolved.
a. Webmail loads slow - it takes couple of seconds more than my earlier host to host webmail. Sometime it is annoying. It keeps on showing 'loading', and may take upto 2-3 minutes to load (I am on 1 mbps dedicated single PC connection - so net speed is not a limitation).
b. Customer care is little off mark sometimes. Not that they are not prompt or rude, but seem not to exactly understand the customer issues. And they straight jump to conclude by providing a url link to a blog.

But these two issues are not sufficient enough to prevent me from continuing with Arvixe.

Only some weird problem with a hacker on Wordpress, but I don't think that has anything to do with the hosting, just an outdated Wordpress installation.

Click here to reply to this review		 Where to begin... oh I know where to begin, sign up with godaddy cheaper, and although horribly oversold and brutally slow your site will load.
Arvixe, when it works is fast, blazing fast but without a site now since thrusday (4 days) and for error 500, on 4 browsers and 3 mobile networks the next troubleshooting step was clear cookies and cache, this for an INTERNAL SERVER ERROR... odd t/s and ya it didnt resolve the issue. Their feature warrant that they get a 10 there but because site does not work, overall they get a 1 because what good are features on a site that fails to load

Cons: not reliable, customer service lacks understanding of error 500 and insists its a computer issue

Click here to reply to this review		 I have got to say that Arvixe are my favourite hosting company I've used. I have tried using others like bluehost and hostgator, but none have provided as good a serivce as Arvixe.
Arvixe offers you not only extraordinarily cheap web servers, but also with a wide range of high quality services with very good specifications and limits.
Arvixe are a reliable company, and offer terrific reliability and brilliant support in the odd event something does go wrong.
I have already recommended Arvixe to many of my friends and colleges, and will continue to do so.

then i purchased another account and then started purchasing resellers. but i noticed that gradually arvixe support department is almost zero at this stage. and QA department is sleeping at the moment.

servers are downgrading day by day. i also reffered arvixe to some other people and they purchased hosting packages but i feel embarrassed when they complaint about servers performance

Click here to reply to this review		 Arvixe has so far been one of the best hosting companies ive been with, and over the past 2-3 years ive been with a good, 5 or 6 hosting companies, shared servers are ok for starter websites like mine was, but i quickly expanded and moved to a dedicated server which is top notch

for the value and performance, arvixe is the best choice for any beginner , or expert

Tech support is always online, and always willing to help ( the indians could use some work though lol ) but overall great support


Pros: good support , great server speeds, great for starting up , reliable company
Cons: during peak times shared plans can get a bit slower but its to be expected from a shared server on ANY company

Click here to reply to this review		 Terrible hosting company. Terrible customer support. Terrible communication between the "techs" who simply pass your service ticket off to one another AND contradict each other in the process.

One of their shared servers completely failed, taking a clients site down. For three days. Of course, Arvand claims the server did not fail. After numerous requests and ignored service tickets, they finally attempted to migrate to a new server and reinstall from backup.

However Arvixe could not seem to get the correct php and ASP.Net versions which the site was written under, installed properly, claiming that there was no significant difference between php 4.2 and php 5.3 Really? Now my clients site has been down for a full week. Then they blame my back-up source. OK... so my back-up source is "bad"...fine...how about we restore from your backup, Arvixe? What's that you say? Your say the database backups got corrupted during the "bluebell" server failure (that you told me seven days prior did not happen?)

After ten full days of being jerked around with every half-assed excuse, I pulled the plug on Arvixe. Too bad on the rating system here there isn't negative integers.


Pros: Leaving Arvixe.
Cons: Yeah, they're con men alright.
