WebHostingBuzz Partners with CodeGuard

Last week, the hosting provider WebHostingBuzz announced that they are working as a launch partner with CodeGuard. The latter offers a cutting-edge website backup service, which basically works as a time machine for your website.

In a nutshell, CodeGuard gives you the ability to backup important data from your website. This software also backs up applications, and enables you to easily roll back to a time before the hacker, or other attack on your site. With CodeGuard, your data is stored in a secure cloud, from which you can restore it around the clock.

How Does CodeGuard Work?

The first step in using CodeGuard to keep your website safe is signing up for the service at CodeGuard.com. Once you do so and log in, you must enter your FTP credentials. Then CodeGuard will proceed to back up your site.

After you successfully complete the first step, you can go back to updating your site as you did before. CodeGuard will work in the background, periodically backing up your website data. You can choose how often CodeGuard should check your site. It can be hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on your needs.

You will also be alerted if CodeGuard notices that anything has changed. When you receive such an alert, you can then use CodeGuard to easily roll back to a time before the change occurred.

As part of the partnership, WebHostingBuzz customers will get an enhanced version of the CodeGuard software free of charge. Existing clients can already give it a test drive by clicking the CodeGuard icon in their cPanel.
