@3. I wish I read your comments before buying the Ipage Services. The same issue I am having this time and I never got proper help and chat is terminated from Ipage technicians.

But what could be done now. just searching google for changing cname record.

I signed up with iPage 2 months ago. My main complaint is that they are slow … really slow! (I am talking about page load times). Just serving a simple html page takes around 20 seconds at times. Also they don’t support cron jobs. FYI you can build your database by exporting from whereever as SQL, and then just run that SQL query to build your database. Don’t use iPage unless your customers are extremely patient!!!

IPage is the worst hosting that you could see…they database is hacked with this message:

I dont recomend them, i try to explain the couse my website and my files are not corupted…i have tryed my website files on other host and work perfectly…be careful with IPage if you dont want to have your website hacked.

iPage sucks guys! The database backup tool in my account is broken. I was totally frustrated with this. Importing and exporting a database through myphpAdmin is also not possible. My account is actually restricted from doing so. I asked the technical special specialist to fix this. It took them 2 days to give an answer: “your database should be functional now”. But I checked again. WTF! It’s still broken. Have they fixed it? I tell you, their specialists don’t know programming. If you are using iPage, please check your database backup now. It is very very important. You don’t want to lose everything you’ve built, do you?

My two sites have been hacked and, since I need to rebuild, I want to move to a new host. I like JustHost. But you say it isn’t good for onli9ne transactions. One of my sites sells a single item–a book–and I have a PayPal account. Is there some danger in my using JustHost in this case?

This is why I always recommend buying your domain names elsewhere (like GoDaddy) so that you have full control over DNS entries.

iPage’s the best? For what? They don’t even know how to change a CNAME record and point the mail to ghs.google.com, I have been trying to contact them and work with 20 different technicians at iPage and they all say that the only way to get my mail.domain.com to work is to contact Google…WTF.
Bad bad bad.
