When you’re looking for a web host, you might be tempted by some unlimited features offered: unmetered bandwidth, unlimited disk space, unlimited email accounts, etc.
The thruth is that in most case, these features are unlimited… until you reach the limit.
Some web hosts offer unmetered bandwidth. This usually means that as long as your website doesn’t affect its neighbors (i.e. other websites on the same server), you won’t get penalized or suspended.
If you plan on having a high traffic website, you’d be better to find a web host that offers a bandwidth limit that suits your needs.
Sometimes you can create as many email accounts as you want but sometimes there’s a restriction on the disk space used by the mailboxes.
While this restriction is mostly found in shared hosting, some VPS and dedicated server plans may have this restriction too.
This means you can use as much disk space as you want but… don’t abuse. Look at your provider’s TOS (Terms Of Service).
Just like email accounts, this unlimited feature is usually limited in disk space, not in database quantity.
