Support at 1and1.com has gotten Much better-assuming you can understand them. The number is also toll free.

They always lag behind in technology- I would like .net 3.5 support(who knows when they will get it).

Dealing with billing and tracking multiple client accounts can be troublesome- they need better software.

1and1.com developers package claims server priority. I ask godaddy if they had any stats and the tech/sales rep. was clueless. I wish there were some hard performance statistics available.

1and1 also had maps/directions software. Godaddy has forum and other community software.

So it really depends which functions are more valuable to you.</description>
